AmaZulu

Highs: Recovered from worst-ever start to finish in Top 8
Lows: Lost opening 4 games - a first in the club’s PSL history
6 – Usuthu finished in 6th position on the table; only once before in PSL history have they finished in a higher position (2nd under Benni).
Cape Town City
Position swing from last season: -10
Top scorer in all comps: Darwin Gonzalez (5 goals)
Coaches: Eric Tinkler (start), Ertugral (less than 3 months), interim (brief tenure),
Winless run: 13 games (club record)
Highs: Back-to-back wins over Chiefs and Pirates in early January
Lows: Club-record winless streak and lowest-ever finish
15 – City scored 15 league goals all season. Only one team in PSL history has finished a PSL campaign with fewer goals (2007/08 Jomo Cosmos had 13).
Chiefs
Position swing from last season: +1
Top scorer in all comps: Makabi Lilepo (6 goals)
Notable runs: 9-game winless streak to end season
Back-to-back wins: Only once (Matchday 1 & 2)
Highs: Nedbank Cup victory
Lows: Worst-ever league goal tally and goal difference
25 – Chiefs scored 25 league goals all season, their worst return in a PSL campaign, while their -7 goal difference is a new club record.
Chippa Utd
Position swing from last season: +1
Top scorer in all comps: Sinoxolo Kwayiba (7 goals)
High point: 3rd place at the end of November
From Dec-May: 17 points in 19 games
Highs: Strong early-season form; looked like surprise Top 8 contenders
Lows: Collapse in the second half of the season and early Cup exits
11 – 11th is Chippa United’s best position post-COVID (since finishing 11th in 2019/20).
